Our meeting tonight was attended by our Area 24 director Greg who we enjoyed having with us tonight .

We had 6 actual members in attendance one honorary member and one visitor James who joined our ranks tonight , making us seven members.
There were several apologies and a couple of last minute scratchings.
John S. had car trouble and wasn't able to be with us.
Rosenberg emailed a late apology.
Sadly this was to be our last night with Rosenberg as he is moving North.
He was to do his final speech with us tonight, however we never got to hear it.
We will Miss him
We wish him much success and happiness and will miss his always happy smiling face .
BLUE GUM FLAT TOASTMASTERS MEETING 4/9/17
There were just Three speakers tonight
James, our newest member,
(Doing his Ice Breaker),
Glennis and Judi.
The chair was occupied tonight by Tanya.
Our timer was Glennis (in place of Rick) .
The word was delivered by Anne, the word was SHIP and Anne told us of the many ways it can be used and encouraged us to use it.
(i.e.) Apprenticeship
Friendship.
Fellowship ,
Ownership,
Championship.
Scholarship ..
The list goes ON............
It is quite amazing how many different "ships" there are in our English Language.
In place of Table Topics tonight,
we had a continuous story started by by Judi who gave us the start of something spooky and the story then went on and on in many different directions. It is amazing to se the imagination of some people.
Our speach evaluators tonight were Tanya, Ann, and Judi.

(9th September at MINGARA Club 12-15 am muster for
12-30 am start....
We have Rick and Tony competing for BLUEGUM in this contest and we wish them luck..
