Sad to report our April 7th club meeting was not well attended once again, there were only 10 members present, and 1 visitor
(our almost honourary member", Pat),
it's always lovely to see you Pat, and good to have someone to keep your daughter in line" !!!!
Yet there were only 3 apologies.....
Have so many of our Blue Gum members left the country ????
We are hoping some of our members who were AWOL will soon decide to pay a visit....
A club is only as healthy as it's members make it....! ! !
Unfortunately ours is not looking very healthy at the moment.....
Though light on numbers tonight there were still 3 very good speeches and 3 very good evaluations.
Speakers tonight were ALAN, TANYA, and JOHN
Evaluators were Aaron, Darren and Sam.
All speakers and evaluators spoke well and were enjoyable to listen to...

Darrin was chairman tonight and had to wear several hats due to lack of numbers, he did an excellent job of all positions......

CLUB NEWS
On April 2nd a committee meeting of the executive was held , there were only 4 members in attendance .
Just enough to have a meeting Quorum.......
Absent BUT with very good reasons were
S / A / Arms : Tanya
Tanya had a wedding anniversary and was actually
"ALL AT SEA" (On a little Anniversary cruise)
"Hope your Anniversary was happy "
VPE : Darren
Darren had a vet emergency with his dog and couldn't be there...... "Hope all is well with your dog now Darren".
Secretary:Ann
Ann, Had a minor crisis at home,
"Hope all is well there now Ann."

Tanya's husband was going into hospital on 8th April (the day after our meeting), for tests.
Thinking of you Tanya and hope the outcome for Hubby was all Ok and nothing that can't be fixed....
Please keep them both in your thoughts.......
At our next meeting we will need your nominations for who you think should be on committee for the coming year, and while we are on the subject, PLEASE feel free to nominate yourself for any of the committee positions.
It shouldn't be just the faithful few every year....
Our next meeting will be 21st April (Easter Monday) if you can't be there at our Easter Monday meeting but are willing to take a position on committee or wish to nominate someone please send a signed letter stating that you are willing to take a certain position or wish to nominate someone for a position.
Please make sure your letter will reach Darren or Tanya or Ann before 21st April....
