Regular Meeting 7th May 2018

Tonight we had 9 members , one guest  (Greg),  and  one honary member (Pat) in attendance. 
We had a few apologies  tonight due to work commitments and trips away etc. 
Greg our area 24 director attended tonight to conduct our       Executive officer Elections.
Our new Executive committee are 
Glennis,    (President)
Tanya       ( VPE and  Treasurer)
Chantel    ( Secretary)
Tony        (V.P. Membership)
Tim          ( Sergeant at Arms)
Jeremy     (V.P.P.R.)
 Congratulations to our New Executive Committee  and good luck in your various positions . 
 Thank you to our past committee,  several who have been on our  executive committee and served our club well  for many years, 
    ( it's now time to step back,  take a deep breath, and let                   some new blood in    (as the saying goes).

the Word was delivered by Jeremy   (LEARNED) , 
the Toast was delivered by John S  ( a toast to mothers).
 Timer was Tim, 
A Mini Debate was held tonight in place of Table Topics.
Toastmaster  and Listening post was Chantel ,
 both Tim and Chantel were doing these positions for the 1st time and carried  out these roles well .

Eastern Division contest was held last weekend and I am told that  our area was well represented by Prema D. C. (Speech)   and Carol W. ( Evaluation) who both did us proud and performed well.  Thank you ladies for making us proud , representing our area so well and performing so very very  well.
