Regular meeting Monday 16th April 2018

           OUR NEW BANNER that is displayed in the club 
foyer / entrance on the nights we meet to let all club visitors               know that we are there...

Tonight we had  11 members and 1 guest present at our April 16th Meeting. 
Our Three young (newest members) were there and full of enthusiasm to carry out their allocated tasks . 
Tim was our timer Jason delivered  his Ice Breaker speech , Chantel conducted "Listening Post" .  
                                All did REALLY well....

All three of our newbies did a great job tonight and recieved their membership badges tonight as well so they can ditch the temporary lanyard name tags they were originally given....

Well done all of you , we look forward to  hearing all of your  icebreakers and stories etc as you advance your way through Toastmasters and become  good public speakers.....

Tonight we had one guest who has been with us once before , he visits with Anne and Pat sometimes.
Pat gave us another of her fantastic poem stories tonight. it' s amazing how this lady remembers  the story... Well done again Pat, we love your little poem /stories. we all hope we will be as good as you if ever we reach your age.... Tanya received 2 awards tonight . There were three speakers tonight  Jason, Judi and Glennis followed by three good evaluations by John S , Anne and Tanya

A three way tussle for the Chairmans award  erupted and security had to almost be called to seperate them.

First it was a 2 way tussle for the presidents award between Chantel and Tim 

Then it became a 3 way tussle when Jason was also named .  
Tim looks very determined to get  the prize..!!!!

 Our next meeting  will be on 30th April . 
We usually have a social night  in the dining room when there are 5 Thursdays in a month but this time it was decided by members to have a regular meeting / social dinner in our meeting room .
We will be meeting in the same meeting room as usual  and ordering our dinner  to be delivered to us in there. 
Remember this IS a "social dinner" so partners are welcome to come along to  join in  and listen to some speeches etc while enjoying dinner together....
