January 15th was our 1st meeting for 2018 , we had Glennis back with us after a long holiday and she was looking really well and ready for the year ahead.
Welcome back Glennis, we have missed you..
Our 1st meeting in Feb. will be our International speech and evaluation so please register with Glennis 0428532272 to participate or at least please be there to cheer our contestans on.
Tonight we had a visitor Callum who did so well on his 1st visit with us that he was awarded the Chairmans choice award for the night....Well done Callum.

The WORD given by Glennis was "CONVENTION"
Tony and Tanya were our speakers tonight and both gave excellent speeches.
Ann presented us with the TOAST.
Judi conducted a Mini Debate in place of Table topics.
Ann and Judi were the speech evaluators .
Aaron was out Toastmaster .
Our General evaluator was Tony,
James conducted his 1st listening post.

PLEASE NOTE :
We are having a meeting this month on the 5th Monday of the month 29th Jan. (not a dinner meeting) it is to be a normal meeting in the meeting room and in place of a dinner meeting we will have finger food etc just to make it special.
Contestants in the upcoming International contest might like to practice on us that night.
Tony will be on the High Seas so we hope he stays dry and gets back safely.
