 Tonight we held our Annual International Speech  and Evaluation contest. 
There were 4 contestants in each section tonight and they were ALL excellent.
Speakers in the Speech contest were Rick, Glennis, Anne and Tony.
The same 4 also took part in the Evaluation Contest. 
All were again  excellent..........
There can't have been many points separating them.

A great  Target speech was delivered by our very new member Mark,  who is showing all the signs  of being an excellent Toastmaster, Mark gave a great speech using NO notes again as he had done  in his recent Icebreaker speech. 
 He was presented with a certificate of appreciation

We had a  good attendance of members tonight along with several Guest Judges and 4 visitors so all in all there was a good crowd  for the contestants to perform to.
The Winners and Runners up are as follows .

The best Speech went to Tony, with Rick as Runner Up
The Best  Evaluation went to Tony with Anne as Runner up.
WELL DONE EVERYONE, the speeches were all great and the Evaluations of Marks Target speech  were encouraging , fair and very helpful to Mark who I noticed was jotting down the Points for Improvement.

Tony will need a bigger cabinet, good job that he is now retired and will have the time to build a new one....


Next Club meeting will be  Monday  20th February,
same time same place.
