Regular meeting 17th OCTOBER 2016

Tonight we had NINE  of our  members in attendance and 2 visitors, our honorary member Pat and our Area Director Carol were our guests tonight . 

 Area Director Carol was our guest.

It was good to see Tony back from his big trip to Canada and surrounds, he has already told us about some of his adventures, we feel there are many more to come.
 Welcome back Tony, glad you and your wife had a wonderful time and arrived back in the land of OZ safely, we missed you..

We still seem to be down in numbers but our attendance IS picking up now. Perhaps the warmer weather will bring some members back to the meetings, we hope so as we miss you when your not there. 
We hope if your away on holiday you return safely and if your not well you are soon well again.
It was good to see Stuart back with us and to know that he is now not quite so sleep deprived as the new baby is sleeping a little better now.
We remind you all (members and past members) that our social meeting is to be held next Monday night when we have dinner together in the Blue Gum Bistro Restaurant. 
We always have a social catch up over dinner if there are 5 Mondays in any month and there are 5 mondays in October. 
So we  hope to see you there from arround 6-30 ,  or whenever you can get there. $10.00  members meals and $12.00 non members are always available along with a full menu of good food.

So NOW  back to the last meeting ....

We had three speakers tonight Tony, John and Tanya. 
All spoke well and  were given 3 very good evaluations.
 There is always a winner and tonight that was John, all speakers gave great speeches though.

Stuart presented the club with a new President Distinguished Club  award, for his year as President ( another feather in the cap for our club)
