                "HAPPY  BIRTHDAY  BLUEGUM"

Tonight we celebrated our 25th Birthday, about 40 people attended and all  enjoyed a lovely meal together as well as a beautiful cake made and decorated by Glennis (well done Glennis, it was just beautiful).
We were treated to free bottles of house wine or soft drink and all in all a lovely evening seemed to be had by all who attended.
All enjoyed some  great catch up time with some past members we hadn't seen in a long time.  Many of our members were accompanied by their partners
It was so lovely to see some of the old faces again....
By that I dont mean "OLD" as in aged faces, I just mean "Blast from the past" faces. !
Anyway they were faces that it was just lovely to see again.

To Pauline, Lyn, Rose, Faye and Diane, how nice to see you all again. ! "Long time no see".
To those who are battling illness these days,
we all wish you well.
We were also joined by several dignitaries , including one of the RSL club directors as well as  distinguished Toastmasters
( all seated on what became known as the bridal table) .
Ray was presented with  his "Special" 20 year award by Immediate past district 70 Govenor David, well done Ray.
We had many past presidents in attendance 8 in all, as well as our 2015-16  President Stuart..
We had visits from members of other clubs, Gail, Jan, Elaine, Shirley, Chin, Judy, Ronelle, Carol, some of their partners also attended.
Tanya did us all proud in doing the biggest part of the organising of the evening, the tables were decorated beautifully, the place mats made from old photos etc were just great and  she also made a DVD of old photos that she had rolling on a screen all through the evening, members had a good laugh at some of the old photos as they popped up. Tanya also  made sure that everything ran to time, well done Tanya and "Thank You" for all the work you put into the special birthday that we all enjoyed.
Some photos of our birthday  celebrations and those who were  in attendance are  above and below......
