Tonight it was rather obvious that we have hit the middle of winter, there were more apologies tonight than there were members in attendance.
It was a cold night and some of our members probably chose to stay in the warmth of their homes while others have gone down with some treaded lurgy or another.
Get well soon everyone, we missed you....
Aaron thought his days of S.AA. were behind him but due to the illness of Tanya, our new SAA, he had to perform his duties once again and told us the usual dad joke....
We actually had two dad jokes tonight, see below for the jokes....
We only had 10 members present tonight along with one guest (Ann's mum Pat, who is almost one of us these days).
Ask Pat how she is and she will usually say
( "Not bad for the shape I'm in" )
ask her how she's going and she will tell you
(One foot in front of the other")
(Its always nice to see Pat though, a lovely lady who is aging like good wine, "BEAUTIFULLY).

Tonight was Stuarts 1st night as our President and he did a lovely job of it, he even hand made the awards and
"THEY WERE SPECIAL "
with the recipients promising to frame their award.
I think we will all be striving to win one of these Stuart,
well done....
Tonight we heard from only two speakers as the other speaker on the agenda wasn't able to be there.
Both speeches were great, with Ann telling us about her experiences with BARTERING.
Sam's speech was especially funny, he told us two stories and either one would have won a humorous Speech contest I thought.

driving a 4 cylinder Carolla in a police chase.) !!!!
Well done to both speakers tonight and these speeches were followed by two excellent evaluations.

| Stephen was Chairman tonight and awarded Glennis his Chairman's award for her brilliant add libbing after she forgot to evaluate the Table Topics. ************************************************************ Tony's dad joke...... Why was the Mushroom so popular.?Because he was a Fun Gi Aarons Dad Joke.... Why didn't the ghost go to the dance.? Because he had NO BODY to go with. Oh dear they get worse don't they, but we always enjoy the little Dad jokes just the same. Gives us a little smile to start our meetings off which is very important, Thanks guys, keep up the good work.... ***************************** Dont forget !!!!
