Regular meeting April 6th Easter Monday

Our club met on Easter Monday 6th April and would you believe it, there was not an Easter Egg in sight.
It seems they had all been consumed before the night.
We think Tanya ate them all. !!!!
She loves Chocolate ?

We had 9 members in attendance  and 3 guests tonight,
Guests were Pat , Prema and Glen.
It is always lovely to see Ann's mum Pat come along to our club  and we were especially honoured to have Prema and Glen visit us tonight too.
Tonight was a little different in that  we all drew a position out of an envelope. All positions were filled  except for the speakers and they had been arranged in advance.
Our speakers tonight were Aaron,  completing his last speech from his C/C manual.
Wow, hasn't Aaron improved over those 10 speeches.
Aaron started out with Toastmasters as a very shy young man but is becoming a confident speaker now.
Well done Aaron, keep up the great work !!!!
Tony gave us his Ice Breaker speech tonight and what a professional Ice Breaker it was at that. Wow
Tony is a very experienced Toastmaster who has  decided to start over again and so had to complete his Ice Breaker.
This was a very professional power point presentation telling us all about his history.
His previous Toastmasters skills are very evident.

Glennis was our 3rd (mystery) speaker, thanks Glennis for stepping in with your lovely "accepting an award" speech....

Our Winners and grinners tonight are pictured below.

The Toast : To PAULINE......
Judi, proposed a toast tonight to our past member
Pauline Heap who has recently resigned  from our club due to ill health.
Please see email from Pauline below

Dear Judi,
