Our social Dinner meeting on 30th March was attended by Pauline as she wanted to say a few
good byes.
Pauline had been a very valued member of our club for 13 years and due to ill health chose to not continue her membership any longer as she can not often get to a meeting these days.
.Jan and Gail attended as they too wanted to say good bye to Pauline who they held in high regard for her work over the years not only with Blue Gum Flat but for her work with Toastmasters in the district over the past years..
We all enjoyed a lovely meal at the Blue Gum Bistro , we also presented Pauline with a gift and a card from our club .
She really loved the gift and made a thank you speech that we all loved.
Several of the members then spoke about Pauline and her time with us .
The night was a little sad but still was a nice get together of members and it was great to see Pauline looking so well .
Pauline has requested that she still continues to see our BLOG and can see what everyone is up to.
We hope Pauline can visit us now and then as a guest ,
(you will always be made very welcome Pauline ) and also that she will still get to some social events that we have. We wish you all the best Pauline,
please note that our card only said
"THANK YOU" (not GOODBYE).
