 March meetings 2nd March

On March 2nd President Tanya presented Ourimbah RSL with a certificate of "Thanks" for allowing us to have our meetings at their club. 
This award  was accepted by  RSL employee Alison. 
Our newest Member Tony was presented with his membership certificate tonight. 
Tony is a very experienced Toastmaster who has joined us  from another club, we are VERY pleased to welcome Tony to Blue Gum Flat, we hope you will have some happy times with us Tony.

We had 2 visitors tonight  Shirley and Scott, Shirley is from a sister club and enjoyed the night with our club and was going to take a few of our agenda items back  to her own club. 
Scott was new to Toastmasters and came along to see what he thought of us.... 
He also enjoyed the evening.

 The following pics were taken during Sam's speech when he taught us all how real handcuffs are  used.
Stephen was his victim and it was  amazing to see how quickly Sam was able to subdue Stephen even when he fought back , Sam is retired now from the police force but still knows how to handle  a person who resists arrest.

Sorry Stephen hope the bruises go away soon.... Thanks for being the victim because none of us were going to volunteer to wear those hand cuffs..... !!!!!

 On the sick list is Jane who was rushed off to hospital with a severe case of apendicitis requiring surgery.
