REGULAR MEETING 4th NOV.

Glennis was General evaluator tonight.

Sam was Chairman.

Jan was our distinguished guest.

 Our meeting  tonight WAS Melbourne Cup EVE and our meeting  just like the last M/Cup  Eve was not well attended. 
Was everyone out at Pre Melbourne Cup Dinner ??? 

We hope so, we would be dissapointed if they just couldn't be bothered attending. !
We had a special Guest,  Jan V...... , the immediate past District Govenor of District 70 .
Jan came along all the way from Seaforth  to make the  20 year membership presentation to Ann . 
Thank you Jan, we really appreciate your coming so far to present Ann with her reward.
We hope your long trip home was safe and uneventful....

Ann was  double booked and was actually dressed up for a
 pre - Cup outing , she didn't wear that outfit complete with  fascinator because of our meeting.!!!!!

Our meeting was a fun night with Sam doing a great job as Chairman for the very 1st time.
 He started a continuing story that ended up being the beginning of the Red Head match company....  You never know where these continuing stories will end up..
Stephen was timer again, (he is getting good at this) and also  did his
 1st ever evaluation as well.
 Aaron made his 2nd ever speech and was great. We are so proud of these fairly new members, we love the way they are really excelling in Toastmasters and becoming very confident, it is great to see how they are blooming....

we are so glad you survived that parachute jump....

At the end of the meeting Sam as Chairman awarded the Chairmans award to Aaron on a job well done and for his tenacity....

Don't forget the International speech and evaluation contest will be held next year  on Tues 19th Feb 2014 , so you need to start thinking about  your speech if you are entering this one....

Toukley Toastmaster are having their International Speech night on Tues. 19th Nov., they are asking for some judges from our club, they always help out at our club competitions so it would be good if you can help.
