Best Speech  to Sam for his 1st ever speech, well done Sam.

Mark won best T/T and Evaluation.
We know you don't like photo's Mark but
 it looks like youve learnt to  just "grin and bear it"

Stephen and Sam shared Judi's  Chairman's Award.

Our regular meeting was  attended by only 12 members  and  we also had three visitors , 
Greg, Daniel and Zac. 
All three visitors spoke glowingly of their experience at the meeting and said they would return...

Our Three newest members received their club badges from Tanya (past President) as our new President (Alan) was absent.

you really are the best multi tasker) :)
Congratulations to our new members , Stephen, Sam and Aaron , now that  you have your official Toastmaster badges the butterfly's will soon be flying in formation....

Our Chairman tonight  was Judi who welcomed the members and guests and   carried out her duties well  BUT ended up being arrested just the same.
By our resident  (Mr Plod)....SAM.
Sam gave his ice breaker speech tonight and told us about the two sides of Sam....
One was the mild mannered wedding  photographer and the other was the STEALY eyed  (Mr Plod)
policeman who arrested Judi.
Wow what a transition, I can assure you that when you hear those words,
"you are under arrest , for shoplifting, and anything you say or do  may be used in evidence against you" .
It kind of jolts you.......!
Judi thought she had been caught sampling a grape at Coles .Good speech Sam and your Wedding Photography is just beautiful,  Stephen also gave his ice breaker tonight and it too was excellent, Stephen told us about his life so far , can't believe you were once a little Premmie baby, well done Stephen.
Our third speaker was Darrin who again gave a great speech about  managing our time, as usual he had us all listening intently, good speech Darrin.....

Sam won best speech tonight with his "Two Sides to Sam"....
Great speech Sam , I liked the Photographer better than the policeman let me add.
Best Table topics and best Evaluation was won by Mark and The Chairman's Award went equaly to Sam and Stephen for doing such good work with their ice breaker speeches...
Both spoke very well and we feel they will both make very good Toastmasters.

Mark did the word, 
Jane Timer.
Aaron did a good job with his Ums and Ahs counting....
Well done everyone.
For those who were absent, you missed three very good speeches, please try hard to be there next meeting, we really need our members to encourage the new members and show them some
 "Blue Gum" hospitality and friendship.
We know the weather is cold right now  but the club is warm and cosy .
It was GREAT  to see Jane back with us again tonight , hope to see you more often Jane, you and your fun speeches are really MISSED by your club members although we know that work commitments are your reason for not being with us very often at the moment we hope that will soon cease to cause your absence.

Next meeting 15th July will be our Humorous Speech and Table Topics competition so please try to come along and make the contestants feel supported and or lend a hand in the running of the contest....Let Christine M.  know if you wish to be a contestant or a helper.

Coming Events FOR YOUR DIARY:
There is to be a trivia night for all Toastmasters and friends at Woy Woy on Fri. 9th August.
All funds raised  will be going toward  the Semi Annual Conference at Ettalong later this year.

They are asking the various clubs to make up a team / table and join in the fun of a trivia night.
Cost will be $10-00 per person and that will include a light supper....
Trivia questions  will include
History,
Geography
Film and TV
Music  General Knowledge 

This will be held at the Peninsular Community Centre 
Corner  of Ocean Beach Rd and McMasters Rd
 Woy Woy.
 7-30pm to 9-30pm
