Meetings for August

Our meetings this month were both  well attended, it was good to see Ray back and telling us all about his recent trip to Canada.
 We all wish our member Darren well as he represents our club at the area level of humorous Speech contest  on Sunday 28th....
His humorous speech " I'm A Junkie, An Adrenalin Junkie, was great, very well presented and very funny and our members really enjoyed it.... Darren now goes on to present this speech and represent his club at Area level.....
Go Get em Darren..... good luck mate.

At a recent meeting the chairmans award went to a visitor who we hope will join our club some day.

Our Committee met on Wed 24th at Judi's home at Lisarow,we all enjoyed the box of Malteser's as we sorted through the agenda, those unable to be there had their share of the Malteser's taken care off....!

On Monday 29th our club members are invited to attend a dinner meeting at "Breaker's Club" at Wamberal.
 Hope to see you there about 7pm for lovely Bistro style dinner and some good company...
Next regular meeting will be  held on 5th September ( first week of Spring) at  7-30  at North Entrance Surf Club.... Please try to be there.......
