Regular meeting 20/3/17

Tonight we had 8 members in attendance along 
with Pat ( our  honorary member) 
and 2 lovely guests Karen and Kim.  
Both Karen and Kim took part in Round Robin and Table Topics,         (WELL DONE to you both) .
There  were several apologies tonight.
 John chaired the meeting tonight . 
Judi conducted Table Topics.  With an  interesting continuing story...
"It was a stormy thundery night and I was in the shower when the lights went out.  
During a lighting flash the room lit up and  I saw someone enter the bathroom with what appeared to be a knife in there hand, I .........."
This story had many twists and turns as you can imagine and then Karen wrapped it up beautifully as the last speaker.

 Karen then won best Table Topics . 
There are no photo's of Karen as she asked that her photo not be taken.

Tonight Glennis presented the word , 
Tanya proposed the Toast.
Speakers were  to be  Edith , Aaron , Mark.
 However, Aaron and Mark were unable to be there and were both apology's we hope your Ok 
                           "WE MISSED YOU ". 
 So our speakers  tonight were 
Edith
Ann ( in  Aarons absence)
Glennis (in Marks absence).

Evaluations were done by  Judi, Tony and Edith.
Three really good speeches were delivered and were followed by three helpful and encouraging evaluations.
As I said one of our guests,   KAREN won best Table Topics tonight. 
Tony won best evaluation.
Edith won best speech.
Our Chairman John gave his  chairmans award to Glennis for all the hard work she does for our club.

 The latest news....

Tony represented our club at the District Speech competition on Sunday at Argenton. He did a great job but the competition was TOUGH and he wasn't the winner this time .
Well done Tony we are proud of you and your great effort....

 to all that he learned while a member of BLUE GUM)
