Eastern Division International Speech Contest

Sunday 18th March was the Eastern  Division International Speech contest  held at Club Toukley and some of our members were  fortunate enough to have been present to hear
 6 FANTASTIC speeches.

We saw  what EXPERIENCED TOASTMASTERS are Capable of
WOW. !!!!

There were  also 6 really great evaluations of a test speakers speech .
If you weren't there you missed out on hearing some great speeches delivered by some very experienced Toastmasters.

The Winner of the  Eastern Division Speech Contest was
PREMA De Cruze from Wyong Toastmasters who  gave a fantastic speech about how Toastmasters is like Marriage .

You have to be
"In It  For The Long Haul.
During Prema's acceptance speech she explained that although she had been runner up at several  Division Contests she was
"IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL"  and had  kept on trying,
finally being successful  and taking home the TROPHY....
She said she had been the bridesmaid several times and finally through perseverance had become the Bride

Well done Prema ....
Prema with her Eastern Division best Speech  trophy.....

Thought for the day ......
