Regular meeting 19th September

Well things are looking up,  tonight we had 8 members in attendance,  (6 apologies and  sadly the rest were  unknown).
Not really enough as some of us still had to wear 2 hats, but better than last meeting, well done everyone.
Both Glennis and David had to be  both speakers and evaluators tonight, well done !!!!
The theme tonight was "Your Favorite Olympic Moment" and there was some great moments recalled.
Glennis gave us the word tonight "ENDUE"....
 OUR Three speakers tonight were......
David ,Aaron and Glennis, all spoke well.
But the winner was David....
David  told us about his AXIDENT , where he explained how his taking a tree stump out of the ground led to some stitches in his forehead and his Harry Potter scar. Good story David....
Scott was given the Chairmans award for a job well done as timer....  Tanya thankfully filled in to do Table Topics and she carried on the olympic theme by asking us about  how we trained for our chosen sport.
Aaron won best Table topics when he told us about the most important part of being a Greco Wrestler was not the training but  the  outfit, in his case a sparkling leotard.
Scott told us about his training regime as a  gymnast and his going from one bar to another, though I think he was talking about a different  kind of BAR. Sounds like fun though and a great training regime if it works. ( a guiness in one bar, a beer in another and a scotch in another).
Wow, who wouldn't  be an olympic level Gymnast with a training regime like that. ?
Hope to see more of our members at the next meeting so those in attendance dont have to wear so many hats....
If your away , we hope your enjoying your trip,
If your sick ,we hope you will soon be well.
If you absence is work related,  we understand....
We do need you to be at our meeting though if possible.

GRECO WRESTLER Aaron best table topics

Ann best evaluation

David Best speech

Scott, Chairmans award....

 Thought for the day.
"Dont forget, if you don't stand for something,
you will probably fall for anything."
