OUR REGULAR MEETING Monday April 15th

Our April 15th Meeting was well attended by members  and we also had three visitors in attendance.
There were a few APOLOGIES due to medical matters and we do hope you will all be back on deck ASAP. 
 We had the shock news tonight that our  Area Gov. Olwyn is in hospital and we all wish her a quick recovery. Get well soon Olwyn, we all know you can't keep a good woman down so we are sure she will bounce back from this little upset.

Get well soon OLWYN, we all wish you well.

We also wish Christine all the best and  hope to see her back with us again soon  after a few medical  appointments have caused a worry....
We hope the tests weren't TOO YUK and hope the results are good.................

John Starr was back from his trip across the ditch and looking really well for the holiday.

 It was GREAT to see Tom back at our meeting  after an 8 month break, he too looks well and tells me he  even did a little speech at a retirement  village recently. Well done .....
See Tom,  Toastmasters has sure given you some confidence, that just wouldn't have happened before you joined Toastmasters and learned to keep those butterflys  flying in formation.... Everyone enjoyed seeing Tom  back and he  got back into harness right away and delivered the Toast at the meeting.

WELCOME back Tom, we almost forgot what you looked like....

The Speeches tonight were delivered  by Tanya, Darrin and Mark  they were all excellent  and it must have been 
                       a close call to find a winner.  
  The eventual winner of best Speech was           DARRIN
  Best Table topics went to our young visitor       AARON ...
                                WELL DONE Aaron. !
  Best evaluation of the night went to                   RAY
 The Chairmans Award was given to                  LEONIE.

Please make a note in your diary that we have a dinner meeting coming up 
(the first one for the year) on 29th April  at the Buffet 88 at the Ourimbah RSL at  7-30.
The price of this buffet is $18.90 per head  but I  have been told that the Buffett is excellent ........

 (partners are very welcome)  we really  need to support the club that is supporting US with our free meeting room.
