VALE – CAROL BRODBECK, ACS, ALB

Former Area 44 Governor, Tamworth and Blue Gum Flat Toastmasters President CAROL BRODBECK passed away on Wednesday (Nov 28) after a lengthy battle with cancer. Carol was an inspiration to all who knew her in Toastmasters and in her other various pursuits including music teaching and Eistedfodd administration. She was a dedicated and much loved member of the District 70 Toastmasters Family. Carol’s most recent personal achievement in Toastmasters was her Leadership Excellence Award which means she would have only been a number of speeches away from achieving Advanced Communicator Gold and being awarded Distinguished Toastmaster. In all her roles in Toastmasters, including just as an ordinary member, Carol will be remembered as someone who was always friendly, always positive, always enthusiastic, always keen to be involved in doing things and getting things done and always keen to help others. Carol’s funeral service will be held at St Nicholas Church, White Street, Tamworth at 11:30am on Tuesday December 4.
